Introduction / Overview:

 

Oral health is a critical (and often underestimated) factor affecting older people's overall health, wellbeing and quality of life. Sub-optimal oral health standards exist globally in aged care, with older people’s oral health often deteriorating upon admission to care homes. Service providers & their staff need to recognise and respond to this in their daily practices.


For good oral health for healthy aging to be a reality, strong clinical governance & contemporary, evidence-based practice needs to be in place. The webinar will unpack the key elements to achieve this.

Outline / Objectives:
