Introduction / Overview:

 

Delirium is a common and serious acute cognitive disturbance among older adults in aged care and palliative settings, often under-recognised and under-treated. This webinar will explore how to identify those at risk, implement preventive strategies, accurately assess and diagnose delirium, address underlying causes, manage complications, use pharmacology cautiously, and support residents, families, and staff while aligning with current Australian policy and frameworks.
